RSV and heart
or lung conditions

Age and any chronic medical conditions are significant factors when considering risk of RSV infection.1–4
Certain underlying conditions can put older adults at greater risk for serious complications compared with those without the condition.3–5
These include:

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
Asthma
Congestive heart failure (CHF)

“I would certainly hope that my experience would allow others to be aware that if a cough-induced breathing issue arises, don’t risk not getting checked out, go see your physican and have it diagnosed."

Tom,
former RSV patient
